Design Advanges
High-pressure ball valves are designed to control and withstand fluid or gas media under high pressures, typically handling working pressures ranging from hundreds to thousands of pounds per square inch (psi). These valves are manufactured from stainless steel, carbon steel, and other high-strength alloys to ensure leak-free, trouble-free operation under high-pressure conditions, with excellent sealing performance and durability.
When selecting a forged ball valve, it’s important to understand how its manufacturing process differs from that of cast valves. Similar to cast valves, the production of a forged ball valve starts with detailed design and engineering tailored to specific operational requirements. Customers have the flexibility to select from various design parameters to match their application needs. We offer forged ball valves in multiple sizes, pressure ratings, material grades, and trim configurations. For example, our severe service forged ball valves are available in sizes from ½" to 20", with pressure classes ranging from ANSI 150# to 4500#.
Once the valve design is finalized, our skilled technicians proceed with the forging process. Forging involves applying mechanical force—often combined with heat—to shape metal into high-strength, dense components. Both the valve body and internal parts are forged, resulting in exceptionally robust, heavy-duty valves that deliver reliable performance even under the most demanding conditions.
