Product Overview

The 2-piece Korea type ball valve is a type of threaded (screw) end ball valve, widely used for on/off control of various media. As a compact and reliable solution, the threaded ball valve operates by rotating a ball with a cylindrical bore. The valve body connects to pipelines via internal threads (screw threads), ensuring easy installation and maintenance.

Compared with one-piece (monoblock) or three-piece designs, the two-piece structure offers a balanced combination of easy maintenance and leak-tight performance, making it the most popular choice for industrial applications.


Working Principle

The valve is operated manually (lever handle). Rotating the stem by 90° drives the ball to open or close:

Open position: ball bore aligned with pipe axis → media flows through.

Closed position: ball bore perpendicular to pipe axis → media is blocked.
